WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?

WHAT TIME DOES THE FAIR OPEN ON FRIDAY?
The Fair will open at 6:00pm on Friday.
WHAT TIME DOES THE FAIR CLOSE ON SUNDAY?
The Fair will close at 6:00pm on Sunday.
IS THERE A FEE TO PARK?
There is no set fee, but there is a suggested donation of $2. Proceeds go to charity.
ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS?
Dogs: Only guide dogs and service dogs are allowed on the fairgrounds. Birds: Poultry rules apply to pets in this instance – All Poultry must be Pullorum tested within the past twelve (12) months. A State Pullorum Test Certificate will be the only accepted proof of testing. Birds without proof of test will immediately be removed from the Fairgrounds.
ARE OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED?
No coolers, picnic baskets or alcoholic beverages allowed, but you can bring food in a backpack or similar bag.
IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, WILL THE FAIR CLOSE?
No, but rides may shut down due to thunderstorms or safety concerns.
WHERE CAN I GET ENTRY FORMS?
CAN I ENTER IN THE EXHIBITION HALL IF I DON’T LIVE IN CONNECTICUT?
Absolutely! However, for the State Contests be sure to check the rules on residency as some require you to be a Connecticut resident.
WHEN ARE MY ENTRY FORMS DUE?

WHEN CAN I DROP OFF MY FAIR ENTRIES FOR THE EXHIBITION BUILDING?
Exhibition entries can be dropped off on Thursday before the fair between 3:00pm and 7:00pm OR on Friday (opening day) between 8:00am and noon.
I’M SHOWING MY ANIMALS ALL WEEKEND. CAN I STAY OVERNIGHT ON THE FAIRGROUNDS?

IS THE HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT A DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT?
Saturday is double elimination, bring your own partner. Sunday is Horseshoe Mania, draw different partners in each of 7 rounds.
WHERE DO I BRING MY LIVESTOCK ENTRIES WHEN I ARRIVE?
All livestock EXCEPT Horses must enter and exit Gate 2 on the hill. Only Horses use Gate 1.
